Students' Union

All students, full-and part-time enrolled at NPTC become instant members of the College’s Students' Union, which is affiliated to the National Union of Students (NUS). The SU is run by a team of students who are elected annually, and aims to protect students’ interests and improve their welfare.

On production of a passport-sized photo you can join the NUS and obtain your Democracy Card. In addition to this you can purchase the NUS Extra Card for £10. This card will enable you to obtain discounts in local and national stores. You apply for this card directly on the following website www.nusextra.co.uk. Your card will be delivered to Learner Services for collection. If you want to opt out of being a member of the SU, you need to sign a form at Student Services.
