| How to Apply |
It could not be easier to join NPTC. Follow the steps below and should you have any queries about the application process, please contact Admissions.
Look carefully through the academic or vocational courses you are interested in, use the search box at the top left-hand corner of the screen to find out more about a particular course. If you are undecided, discuss with course lecturers at our open/information evenings or open days to help make your decision. For times/dates, of our course-related events visit our Key Dates section.
Once you have selected your course(s), apply online via the online Application Form. Click here to Apply Online... or download one from the link below and return it to Admissions at the campus of your choice.
Please note: this is not an enrolment form.
You will need to have Adobe Reader 7.0.5 or above installed on your system to view this file. Click here to download...
After your application form has been processed, you will be invited to attend an interview, either at school or at College. During this interview you will be able to discuss your choice of course further, as well as, the entry requirements and the career prospects leading from that course.
Following the interview, you will be sent a letter confirming the offer - either a firm or conditional acceptance, depending on whether or not you have been asked to achieve certain examination grades. You will need to return the acceptance slip to Admissions, which will arrive with the confirmation letter.
You will receive an information pack containing additional details about student life at Neath Port Talbot College and giving enrolment and term dates.
If you have not achieved your desired examination results, don’t worry, staff will be available at both campuses during enrolment to give advice and guidance about possible changes to your original course. If you have achieved the necessary grades, but would like to change your original course choice, you can also do this during enrolment.
Browse for a course you are interested in by using the search box at the top left of the screen or by downloading our part-time prospectus. Once you have decided on a particular course, please contact Admissions in the first instance for further details on the enrolment process and in obtaining an enrolment form. Enrolment dates for part-time courses will be made available in the Key Dates section once they have been confirmed. Please note that enrolment for certain part-time courses may be held at different times of the year.
Part-time students are required to pay fees as outlined in the current part-time prospectus. These may include registration/examination/assessment fees where appropriate.
All fees must be paid for at the time of enrolment.
Certain students may be eligible for reduced fees.
It is possible to apply for part-time courses during our open day, which is normally held on the last Saturday in June. Check Key Dates for times/dates. For those interested in Construction courses, it is advisable to enrol early to avoid disappointment.
